TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR JEFFERSONVILLE
RIVERFRONT PARK FROM PARKS DEPT.TO BLDG. COMMISSIONER
WHEREAS Ordinance No. 92-OR-30 adopted April 20, 1992, established the Jeffersonville
Riverfront Park Non-Reverting Fund ("the Fund") primarily to receive rents and other fees from
the lessees of boat docks in the Riverfront Park ("the Lessees"); and
WHEREAS the Jeffersonville Parks Department ("Parks Dept.") has traditionally collected said
rents and other fees from the Lessees and otherwise administered the Fund; and
WltEREAS the Jeffersonville Building Commissioner ("Bldg. Comm.") is required to provide
various permits to the Lessees; and
WHEREAS the City wishes to simplify the procedures required of the Lessees;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that responsibility for collection of rents and
other fees from the Lessees to be deposited into the Fund, and other administration of the Fund
shall be the responsibility of the Bldg. Comm.
