A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT
OF TEMPORARILY DORMANT FUNDS
WHEREAS,
accounts more funds than are
of such accounts, and,
WHEREAS, the Acts
the Clerk and Treasurer has on hand in certain
currently necessary for the immediate use
of the General Assembly of the State of
Indiana now provide for the temporary investment of such funds.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville, that the Clerk and Treasurer be, and he hereby is,
authorized to invest the following sums from the accounts, and for the
time indicated.
From such accounts the Clerk and Treasurer finds that
excess money at the present time would be more bene-
ficial to the City of Jeffersonville to invest as
authorized by the State Board of Accounts.
The time period for such funds should be left for the
discretion of the Clerk and Treasurer. Time for such
investments would not exceed December 31, 1996.
