May 13, 2002
The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's
Conference Room in the City County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the I3~h day of May 2002.
Mayor Tom Galligan called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.. Also present were Board member
Jeffrey Caldwell, John Toombs, Mark Sneve, Tim Crawford, Brian Dixon, Bob Miller and Tim
Craw ford.
The agenda was presented to the Board for approval. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the agenda
as amended, seconded, by Mayor Galligan, passing unanimously.
The claims were presented to the Board for approval. Jeffrey Caldwelt moved to approve the claims
with the additional $20,000 to the Flint Group and contingent on an explanation of the claim for the
City of Jeffersonville Insurance, seconded by Mayor Galligan, passing unanimously. Jeffrey moved to
amend the motion to add the additional claim for Sedam contracting in the amount of $47,611.68 for
Graham Street, seconded by Mayor Galligan, passing unanimously.
Brian Dixon addressed the Board regarding the quote from Del1 with AmView software. The quote
for the computer is $1,799.00 and the ArcView software an additional $1,220.00. Mayor Galligan
asked Brian to look into the price of the software and see if there were any discounts for additional
purchases. Brian will call and advise. Jeffrey moved to approve the purchase of the sale of the
computer as quoted for $1,799.00 and the software package pending the approval of the price,
seconded by Mayor Galligan, passing unanimously.
John Toombs addressed the Board on the Projects in Planning Report.
Mark Sneve addressed the Board on the Summary of ongoing Public Works Projects.
Mayor Tom Galligan moved to accept the report from Tim Crawford on the Monthly Operations for
March, 2002, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously.
