April, 1997.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Thoma~ R. Galligan, with Clerk and Treasurer C.
Richard Spencer Jr. at the desk. Mayor C,-alligan asked Councilpermm Ellis to give the invocation,
Mayor Galligan then asked all to join him in the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
The ~oll was eared and those present were Couneilpersons John Pert-ina, Ron Ellis, Donna
NE Frantz, Barbara Wilson, Peggy Knight Wilder, and Vieky Conliu
Absent: Councilpemon Andrew William,~ I~.
Mayor ~ presented the minutes of the meeting of April 7, 1997, for consideration by
the Cotmcit Caxmeilperson Conlin made the motion to approve the minutes as txesen~ seconded
by Co~meilpexson Ellis, p,~.i.~ '~mnnlmntlg~y.
Clerk and Treasua~i Spencer presented the claim list for eonsi&ration by the Couneit

Attorney Sedwlek presented and explained Oni{nanee No. 97-OR-16, An Ora{nanee

Target Ate~ Attorney Sedwiek explalnad the Economic Development Commiasion passed a
Resolufim designating the'area earlier in the day. An area must be da~i~ated Dior to granting tax

Attorney Sedwick presented Ordinance No. 97-OR~18, An Ordinance Amending Cer~oin

all discussion C~ Pexkius made th~ motion to suspend the niles for Ordinance No. 97-OR-
