A RESOLUTION STATING VARIOUS POSITIONS REMAIN VACANT AND VARIOUS
MONIES NOT BE SPENT FOR THE ENTIRE BUDGET YEAR 1997
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana
that the position of Clerk/Dispatcher in the General Fund Motor Vehicle Department not
be filled for the year 1997; and
WHEREAS, the salary for the Clerk/Dispatcher in the amount of $21,829.00;
along with the corresponding amounts required for payment of FICA, PERF Benefits,
and Life Insurance Policy in the amount of $4,010.93, all totaling $25,839~93 are hereby
considered to be a surplus of monies to be returned to the General Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the total amount of $25,839.93 of the salary and
benefits for the Clerk/Dispatcher in the Motor Vehicle's Budget will be available for the
purpose of additional appropriation within the General Fund in 1997.
