BE IT RESOLVED by the Common council of the City of Jeffersonville, County of
Clark, State of Indiana, that said Common Council will meet in the Multi-Purpose Meeting
Room, Room 308, City-County building, Jeffersonville, Indiana, On the 3rd day of August, 1998
at 7:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an Ordinance making the following appropriation in addition to the
Annual Budget adopted for the fiscal year 1998.
AMOUNT REQUESTED
MOTOR VEHICLE
Appropriation from the Motor Vehicle Fund for the following:
Overtime ......................................................................................... ~ ....................... $10,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk and Treasurer of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana is hereby ordered and directed to give notice as provided by law.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County,

Request for Additional Appropriation
July It4, 1998 .
I am requesting an additional $t0,000.00 to be put in the Motor Vehicle budget for
overtime. We have almost spent all of our overtime money on extreme weather
conditions such as severe wind and thunderstorms and the big snow.
Below is a monthly list of our costs for overtime. I will be glad to answer any
questions you may have.
