MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
AUGUST 23, 2006
Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call ofthe roll those members present were:
City Engineer Miller and Councilperson McCauley.
Also present were: Fire Chief Miles, Assistant Police Chief Lovan, Animal Shelter Director Wilder,
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, Building Commissioner Segraves, Parks Director Poff, Personnel
Director Calabro, Street Commissioner Ellis, Councilperson Wilson, Redevelopment Director Cahill,
and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Councilperson
McCauley and carried unanimously.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the minutes of 8-16-06, seconded by
Councilperson McCauley and carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
CREEKSTONE RIDGE SUBDIVISION
Engineer Miller made the motion to release Creekstone Ridge Subdivision to the County,
seconded by Councilperson McCauley and carried unanimously.
CHANGE ORDER FOR LANDSCAPING CITY HALL
Councilperson McCauley made the motion to approve Change Order #14 in the amount of
$ 13,097.00 for landscaping at City Hall, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried
unanimously.

REQUEST FOR SIGNS
Councilperson McCauley made the motion to approve signage for Quartermaster Court at
Tenth and Twelfth Streets, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously. City
Engineer Miller is checking into the cost of a left hand turn signal on Tenth Street coming
into Quartermaster Court.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board, City Engineer Miller made the
motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Councilperson McCauley and
carried unanimously.
