MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 6, 2006

In Mayor Waiz's absence, Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call ofthe roll
those members present were: Street Commissioner Ellis sitting in for Councilperson McCauley and Fire
Chief Miles sitting in for City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: Asst. Police Chief Lovan, Planning and Zoning Director Hicks, Building
Commissioner Segraves,. Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, Personnel Director Calabro,
Redevelopment Director Cahill, IT Director Hardy, Assistant Parks Director Couts, Sewer Office
Manager Johnson, and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
Street Commissioner Ellis made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Fire Chief
n' Miles and carried unanimously.
PURCHASE OF PICK-UP
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury asked the Board to approve the purchase of an F -150
Pick-up truck to replace a 1999 Dodge Pick-up that was burned up. Fire Chief Miles made
the motion to approve the purchase in the amount of $8,000.00 for an F-150 Pick-Up,
seconded by Street Commissioner Ellis and carried unanimously.
