OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
NOVEMBER 9, 2005
Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present were:
Councilperson Sellers and City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: Fire Chief Miles, Parks Director Poff, Asst. Police Chief Lovan, Wastewater
Treatment Director Crawford, Administrator Davis, Planning and Zoning Director Hicks, Building
Commissioner Segraves, Animal Shelter Director Wilder, Vehicle Maintenance Director Dmry, Parks
Director Poll, Redevelopment Director Cahilt, City Attorney Merkley and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Councilperson Sellers
and cart/ed unanimously.
Councilperson Sellers made the motion to approve the minutes of 10-26-05, seconded by
Engineer Miller and carded unanimously.
228 SPRING STREET/GLENN MUNCY
Building Commissioner Segraves gave a sixty day update report on Glenn Muncy's property
at 228 Spring Street. He said work continues to be done and much progress is being made.
Councilperson Sellers made the motion stating that Mr. Muncy is complying with working
and making progress on the building with Building Commissioner Segraves checking it
periodically, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
COMMENTS:
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury said the Street Dept. has a one-ton truck that needs to be
replaced. Street Commissioner Ellis told him his department has the money to buy a pickup
truck and put a bed on it. Councilperson Sellers made the motion to approve purchasing a
pickup truck, seconded by Engineer Miller and carded unanimously.
Planning and Zoning Director Hicks said there is a Comprehensive Plan Task Force meeting
at 4:00 pm today in the Mayor's conference room.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board the motion was made by Councilperson
Sellers to adjourn at 9:32 a.m., seconded by City Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
