OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 11, 2005
Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
were: Councilperson Sellers and City Engineer Miller.
Also present was City Attorney Merkley and Deputy Clerk Mayfield.
INSURANCE
Humana Representative Cindy Orem presented the Humana proposal for Health Insurance,
Dental Insurance, and Life Insurance. Eye Med Vision Care is also available to all Humana
participants.
Mayor Waiz said five other insurance quotes were taken into consideration and after
idiscussion the decision was made to stay with Humana as the provider for the City of
Jeffersonville.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve Humana as the provider for Health, Dental, and
Life insurance for the City of Jeffersonville, seconded by Councilperson Sellers and carried
unanimously.
CITY HALL BIDS
Councilperson Sellers made the motion to reject all bids on the City Hall Quadrangle Project,
seconde~d~.by.Engi~,eerMiller and carried unanimously. The project will be re-bid.
