OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 15, 2003
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
Were: City Engineer Miller and Parks Director Elliott.
Also present were: Planning and Zoning Director Padgett, Building Commissioner Bill Gavin, Police
Chief Pavey, Wastewater Treatment Manager Meyer, Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury,
Administrator Rich Davis, Chief Mike Smith, and Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
City Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by Parks Director
Elliott and carried unanimously.
City Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the minutes of 12-1-03 as presented, seconded by
Parks Director Elliott and carried unanimously.
CHANGE ORDER
Engineer Miller presented a Change Order for approval on the Veteran's Parkway project for asphalt
extra in the amount of $3,978.90. Parks Director Elliott made the motion to approve the Change Order
for $3,978.90, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT-PROJECT CM-9910
Engineer Miller presented for approval a Supplemental Agreement between the City of Jeffersonville
and Beam, Longest, and Neff, L.L.C., Consulting Engineers in regard to Jeff Park and Ride to change
the original agreement under Section A, paragraph 1, the not to exceed limit is increased by $109,000.00
to $164,700.00. Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the Supplemental Agreement, seconded
by Parks Director Elliott and carried unanimously.
COMPLAiNT
Nellie Knowland said someone is tearing do~vn the privacy fence at the apartment complex behind her
house. Mayor Galligan said the apartment owners would have to be notified.
PARKiNG LOT
Platming and Zoning Director Padgett told the Board that the parking lot across from 300 Spring Street
has been paved all the way to the street and he has received complaints. Mayor Galligan said the owner
would be contacted.
There being no further business to come before the Board the motion was made by Engineer Miller to
adjourn at 10:10 a.m. seconded by Parks Director Elliott and carried unanimously.
