OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 1, 2003
Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
Were: Parks Director Elliott and Fire Chief Smith sitting in for City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury, Personnel Director Ellis,
Administrator Rich Davis, Animal Shelter Director Wilder, Planning and Zoning Director
Padgett, EMC Manager Meyer, Building Commissioner Gavin, Redevelopment Director
Robinson, Police Chief Pavey, and Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
SUN PROPERTIES
John Rulketter representing Sun Properties appeared before the Board to request that part of
11th Street and Meigs Avenue by the Quadrangle be vacated. Fire Chief Smith made the
motion to approve the vacation, seconded by Parks Director Elliott and carried
unanimously.
CITATIONS
Building Commissioner Gavin said the Mattingly matter has been resolved.
Marc and Shannon Harbeson failed to appear before the Board in regard to a fence they put
on an easement. After some discussion, Fire Chief Smith made the motion to send a
certified letter of notice to the Harbeson's to remove the fence by January 1, 2004 or be
fined $500.00 per day thereafter, seconded by Parks Director Elliott and carried
unanimously.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board, at 10:10 a.m. Parks Director
Elliott made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Fire Chief Smith, and carried unanimously.
