OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
SEPTEMBER 8, 2003
In Mayor Galligan's absence, City Attorney Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call
of the roll those members present were: Parks Director Elliott sitting in for Councilperson Frantz and
City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: Wastewater Treatment Director Craw-ford- Building Commissioner Gavin, Street
Commissioner Grant, Planning and Zoning Director Padgett, Personnel Director Ellis. and Deputy Clerk
Lynne Mayfield.
Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the minutes of 8-25-03 as presented, seconded
by Councilperson Frantz and carried unanimously.
PARK PLACE UNITED METHODIST MUSIC FESTIVAL
Reverend Galbraith and Kevin Horton appeared before the Board to armounce the music festival to be
held on October 17th and October 18th at the chttrch. The festival starts at 6:00 p.m. on October 17 and
runs from 10:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. on October 18th. Engmeer Miller made the motion to approve the
music festival on October 17th and October 18th, 2003, seconded by Parks Director Elliott and carried
unanimously.
_CHERRY HILL NEIGHBORHOOD
Sandy Knott asked the Board's approval to put up street banners in the Cherry Hill neighborhood. She
said she would need the City's help to install them. Engineer Miller said he would contact Cinergy.
Parks Director Elliott made the motion to approve putting up the banners pending the approval of
Cinergy, seconded by Engineer Miller and carri:ed unanimously.
There being no further discussion to come bef )re the Board the motion was made by Engineer Miller to
adjourn at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Parks Director Elliotr and carded unanimously.
