OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
APRIL 21, 2003
In Mayor Galligan's absence, Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. and on call of the
roll those members present were: Personnel Director Ellis sitting in for Councilperson Frantz and
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury sitting in for City Engineer Miller.
Also present were: Wastewater Treatment Director Crawford, Administrator Rich Davis, Vehicle
Maintenance Director Dmry, Street Commissioner Grant, Planning and Zoning Director Padgett,
Personnel Director Ellis, Sewer Office Manager Johnson, Animal Shelter Director Wilder,
Redevelopment Director Robinson, Engineering Coordinator Dixon, and Deputy Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
SENIOR GAMES
Julie Wilson of Life Span Resources came before the Board to ask permission to use the
Warder Park gazebo and park at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 29,2003. She said a police
escort will be needed also. Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury made the motion to approve
the request, seconded by Personnel Director Ellis and carried unanimously.
TENT REVIVAL
Reverend George Smithers of Calvary Christian Church asked the Board to approve his church holding
a tent revival on May 22nd, 23rd, and 24u~ from 7-9 p.m. on Green Street. Personnel Director Ellis made
the motion to approve the tent service, seconded by Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury and carried
unanimously.
HANDICAPPED PARK1NG
Donald Jaggers asked the Board to_approve a handicapped parking sign for him at 815 Watt Street.
Vehicle Maintenance Director Drury made the motion to approve the handicapped parking sign pending
Chief Pavey's ok, seconded by Personnel Director Ellis and carried unanimously.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board the motion was made by Vehicle
Maintenance Director Drury to adjourn at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Personnel Director Ellis and carried
unanimously.
