OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
MAY 19, 2003
Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
were: Personnel Director Ellis sitting in for City Engineer Miller and Fire Chief Smith sitting in for
Couneilperson Frantz.
Also present were: Wastewater Treatment Director Crawford, Administrator Rich Davis, Fire Chief
Smith, Building Commissioner Gavin, Vehicle Maintenance Director Dmry, Street Commissioner
Grant, Planning and Zoning Director Padgett, Police Chief Pavey, Engineering Coordinator Dixon, and
Deputy Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
Personnel Director Ellis made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by
Fire Chief Smith and carded unanimously.
JEFF-FEST
Henry Faurest spoke to the Board about Jeff Fest which is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2003 from
11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The Art Show will be on Sunday, June 15, 2003. Jeff Fest will be held at
Preservation Station. Mr. Faurest requested panel boxes and electric drops for food preparation and
picnic tables from the Parks Department. He would like to have the 100 block of West Market Street
closed from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Jeff Fest. Notices will be posted at Clark Arms. Engineer
Miller told Mr. Faurest to meet with Dan Braun on the electric needs. Fire Chief Smith made the motion
to approve Jeff Fest on Saturday, June 14, 2003, seconded by Personnel Director Ellis and carried

Judy Travis voiced concerns about Jeff Fest being held at Preservation Station.
There being no further discussion to come before the Board the motion was made by Personnel Director
Ellis to adjourn at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Fire Chief Smith and carded unanimously.
