Parker Jr. called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.~ and on call of the roil those members present were Donna Baird, Personnel and Safety Director Harold Lakeman~ and Sewage Collection Office Director Jim Matra. Also present were: Building Commissioner Bill Gavin~ Street Commissioner George Trembly, Sewer Office Manager Bob Goldman, Plant Seperintendent Larry James~ Police Major Dennis Simon , Fire Chief Jerry Dooley~ Assistant Fire Chief Clift6n James~ Jr~ Animal Shelter Manager Jan Wheatley) Parks Recreation Director Eric Hedrick~ Clerk and Treasurer Co Richard Spencer Jr., and Clerk Alice Davis. Director Lakeman made the motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of December ~0~ 1993 as presented, seconded by Director Matra and carried unanimously. RESIDENT ONLY PARKING SIGN Police Ma~or Dennis Simon reported that the Police checked out the area for Dixie Forbes~ 404 Market Street and recommends giving her a Resident Only Parking sign. Director Lakeman made the motion to approve the resident parking sign, seconded by Director Matra, and carried unanimously. DEDICATED STREET POLICY Building Commissioner Bill Gavin said that William Sprigler is building 5 new business office suites at Wil!iemsburg Station on New Albany/Chariestown Pike and is requesting that the City dedicate the streets in Williamsburg Station. Bill said that City attorney Mike Gillenwater wants to have a Policy made up for dedicated streets. Mayor Parker suggested that we table this until next week. EASEMENT FOR SEWER Paul Wundrak~ 300? Gardner Blvd. is requesting an easement for tying into the sewer line. Builder Bob Lynn was suppose to grant Mr. Wundrak the easement for the sewer. Plant Superintendant Larry James suggested getting all concerned parties together' and make a decision. Mr. Wundrak has no right-of-way to hook onto the sewer~ and he has been getting sewer bills for 3 years and he has not been paying them because he's on a septic tank. CHRISTMAS TREE DUMPSTERS Street Commissioner George Trembly reported that the dumpsters are in the same 5 locations as last year. taking the trees at no charge to the City. Christmas tree Earth First is PAGE B DECEMBER B7~ 1993 There being no further business to come before the Board of Public Works and Safety~ Director Lakeman made the motion to adjourn at lO:OOa.m.~ seconded by Director Marra~ and carried unanimously.
