MONDAY JUNE 6~ 1994
Mayor Raymond J. Parker Jr. called the meeting to order at 9:30
and on call of the roll those members present were Mayor Raymond J.
Parker Jr., Police Chief Rick Elliott, sitting in for Safety Director
Harold Lakeman, and Sewage Collection Office Director Jim Matra.
Also present were: Building Commissioner Bill Gavin, City Engineer Bob
Miller, Street Commissioner George Trembly, City Attorney Mike
Gillenwater, Sewage Office Manager Bob Goldman, Police Chief Rick
Elliott, City Services Coordinator Leslie Kavanaugh, Interim Parks
Manager Donnie Poole, Clerk and Treasurer C. Richard Spencer Jr., and
Clerk Lynne Kempf.
Director Matra made the motion to approve the minutes of the meeting
of May,23, 1994 as presented, seconded by Chief Elliott and carried
unanimously.

HEDGE COMPLAINT ON MAIN STREET
City Engineer Bob Miller reported that some work has been done but
Building Commissioner Gavin says that it's not cut back as far as it
should be. Miller is going back up to.measure the footage and report
his findings to City Attorney Gillenwater for further action.
BID LETTING FOR SOLID WASTE CONTRACT
City Attorney Gillenwater recommends awarding the contract to Rumpke
instead of rebidding. The Board of Works voted to renew the option
period'for 199~-95~ which is the second year of a three year option.
Director Matra made the motion to renew, seconded by Chief Elliott,
and carried unanimously.
PEDDLERS PERMIT
Mr. Paul Cozine of 1727 Driftwood Drive asked fo~ a peddlers permit to
put a vending cart in Jeffersonville selling hot dogs. He's planning
to move around to various areas. He was told to register with the
police department and go to the City Clerk Treasurers office for the
actual permit.

TENTH STREET UPDATP
Todd Chimel with Environmental Management Corp. reported that they're
attempting to have it repaired this week and should be back open this
week unless the damage is more extensive.
GRAHAM STREET
City Engineer Bob Miller reports that Graham Street should
open by Tuesday at noon. Mayor Parker also asked Miller to
update on the progress of Chestnut and Spring Street job.
