OF THE CiTY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
MONDAY JANUARY B3, 1995
Mayor Raymond J. Parker' Jr. called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.~
and on call of the roll those members present were Mayor Raymond J.
Parker Jr., Personnel and Safety Director Harold Lakeman~ and Sewage
Collection Office Director Jim Matra.
Also present were: Building Commissioner Bill Gavin, City Engineer Bob
Miller, Street Commissioner George Trembly, City Attorney Mike
Gillenwater~ Sewage Office Manager Bob Goldman, Maintenance Foreman
Mike Ewton, Police Chief Charles Elder, Fire Chief Jerry Doo!ey,
Animal Shelter Director Ed Voyles~ Parks Superintendent Donnie Poole,
Administrative Assistant Donna Baird~ Wastewater Treatment Manager
Kendall Coleman~ Clerk and Treasurer C. Richard Spencer Jr., and Clerk
Alice Davis.

presented, seconded by Director Matra and
Director Lakeman made the motion to approve the payrolls as presented~
seconded by Director Matra and carried unanimously~
SEWER PROBLEM
Paul Wundrak~ 3007 Gardner Blvd. is requesting something be done about
the sewer bill's he has been receiving~ he is not on sewers, he has a
septic tank. He has been to the Board about this problem before. The
Board will allow Mr. Wundrak to keep his septic tank without tapping
onto the sewer lines. City Attorney Mike Gillenwater recommends to
the Board to write off the sewer bill's. Director Lakeman made the
motion to waive the sewer bill's pending for Mr. Wundrak of 3009
Gardner Blvd., advise the Sewer Director not to bill further until
other action is taken, seconded by Director Marra~ and carried
unanimously. Mayor Parker asked what Mr. Wundrak's pleasure is on
tying onto the sewer lines or stay on the septic tank. Mr. Wundrak
said that he would like to stay on the septic tank. Mayor Parker
asked Jim Matra if he would take care of keeping Mr. Wundrak's
property off the tax sale in April, Jim said he would. Later if he
wants to be put on the sewer lines he can see City Engineer Bob
Miller.
INNER CITY ROAD
Jorge Lanz, representing Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz Engineering Firm has
prepared a letter for one of the Buttonwood Developers who is
requesting that the letter be sent to Dr. Prentice who o~ns the
property stating that we would not have to connect Buttonwood at Nole
Drive with the Inner City Road. Jorge see's no problem with the
Subdivision being cul-de-sacs on both sides so there is no direct
connection to the Inner- City Road. Also in the letter we have
included the option of connecting future roads of the Subdivision when
it is developed. Director Matra made the motion with the
recommendations of our Consulting Engineer to accept the letter for
Dr. Prentice concerning the intersection of Nole Drive that will
basically the pacifies as Jorge described~ and the letter be forwarded
to Dr. Prentice, seconded by Director Lakeman~ and carried
unanimously.

THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE
Administrative Assistant Donna Baird said that Thunder Over Louisville
will be on Saturday April 2~ 1995. Donna attended a meeting with
Sgt. Monihon and Capt. Schmidt last Friday. Donna said that we will
be scheduling our meetings in ~ couple of weeks.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Public
Works and Safety~ Director Lakeman made the motion to adjourn at
9:50a.m.~ seconded by Director Marra~ and carried unanimously.
