HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-R-27A RESOLUTION TO GIVE NOTICE FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana (the "Council"), that the Council will meet in the Multi-Purpose Meeting Room, Room 308, City-County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana, on the 5th day of November, 2001 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of an Ordinance making the following appropriation in addition to the Annual Budget adopted for the fiscal year 2001. AMOUNT REQUESTED Appropriation from the General Fund for the following: Non-Reverting Health Insurance ........................................ $200,000.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana is hereby ordered and directed to give notice of the required public hearing as provided by law. G/ --- NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said municipal corporation in Council Chambers, Room 308, City-County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana, at 7:00 P.M. on the 5th day of November, 2001 will hold a public hearing to consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the fiscal year of 2001. GENERAL FUND Appropriation from the General Fund For the following: Health Insurance ........................................................................ $200,000.00 Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon.
