Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:3~ A.M., and
roll those members present were: Personnel Director
and Safety Director Anthony Harrod.
Also present were: City Engineer Bob Miller, Sewage Office Manager Bob
Goldman, Planning and Development Director Jim Urban, Parks
Superintendent Rick Elliott, Vehicle Maintenance Foreman Mike
Ewton~Wastewater Treatment Plant Assistant Director Scott Timmerman,
Police Chief Mike Pavey, Building Commissioner Bill Gavin, Wastewater
Treatment Plant Manager Kendall Coleman, Animal Shelter Director Jim
Glllenwater,Assistant Fire Chief Bill Davis , and Clerk Lynne Kempf.

WALL STREET BACKUP
Building Commissioner Gavin said the backup on Wall Street
checked and the 24 Hour Food Mart grease trap was fine.

IPEP AWARD
Director Lakeman proudly reported that the City has again won the IPEP
Safety Award for the last part of 1995 and the first half of 1996. We
will be receiving a placque for the Conference Room around February
12th. Director Lakeman thanked the Department Heads for their safety
records.
MARKET STREET-STREET LIGHT
City Engineer Bob Miller recommended putting a street light at Market
Street and Brighton Avenue at the entrance to Jeff Boat. Director
Lakeman made the motion to approve the requests seconded by Director
Harrod and carried unanimously.

1996 Bio-solids Discharge monitoring for the
PHI SIGMA SIGMA SORORITY
Christine Weir requested a roadblock for February 15th at the
intersection by Ice Cream Willies from 12-4 p.m. The money collected
will go to help the Na%ional Kidney Foundation~ Director Harrod made
the motion to approve the request~ seconded by Director Lakeman and
carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Public
Works and Safety, Director Lakeman made the motion to adjourn at 9:45
A.M., seconded by Director Harrod and carried, unanimouslyb
