BEFORE THE JEFFERSONVILLE COMMON COUNCIL
STATE OF INDIANA
Resolution No. 2001-R- ~3
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FUNDS FOR FUEL
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville needs additional money for fuel;
WHEREAS, the Common Council has $35,000.00 designated in its operating budget for
district council projects;
WHEREAS, the Common Council as the city's fiscal body believes the aforementioned
$35,000.00 should be reserved for the payment of claims for fuel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, that the $35,000.00 designated in its operating budget for district council projects
shall be reserved for the payment of claims for fuel as submitted by the various departments heads;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Common Council shall honor ali claims properly
and lawfully submitted for fuel and further shall not spend the $35,000.00 for any other expense
except for the payment of claims for fuel.
