DECEMBER 28, 1999 Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., and on call of the roll those memc, ers present were: City Engineer Bob Miller, and Sewage Office Manager Bob Goldman. Also present were: Fire Chief Mike Smith, Asst. Director of Redevelopment David Duggins, Street Commissioner Grant, Building Commissioner Larry Decker, Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor Mike Ewton, City Attorney Anne Made Galligan, and Clerk Lynne Mayfield. Sewage Office Manager Goldman made the motion to approve the minutes of 12-20-99 as presented, seconded by Engineer Miller and earned unanimously. City Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by Manager Goldman and carded unanimously. AREA 4 AND 6 ANNEXATION John Toombs of Jacobi, Toombs, and Lanz presented the Board with Engineering agre~nents for sewers in annexation areas 4 and 6. Area 4 is North of N.A. Chas. Pike, East of the the Railroad at Hwy. 131, South of Coopers Lane and West of Hamburg Pike. Area 6 is East of Holman's Lane, West of 1-265, South of Railroad and North of State Road 62. Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the engineering agreements for sewers in annexation areas 4 and 6, seconded by Manager Goldman and carded unanimously. CONDEMNATION DAMAGES Attorney Galligan told the Board that Luther James is requesting $7,500.00 plus 2 sewer taps ibr his easement. Attorney Galligan said the appraisal she received was for $15,000.00. Manager Goldman made the motion to approve awarding Mr. James $7,500.00 and two commercial, one unit sewer taps, seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously. SALARY RESOLUTION-SEWER Attorney Galligan asked the Board to approve Resolution No. 99-R-17, a Salary Resolution for the Sewer Departmentl It includes all salaries for the Sewer Dept.¢xcluding the Mayor and Cl~rk Treasurer. Engineer Miller made the motion to approve Resolution No. 99-R-17, seconded by Manager Goldman and carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board of Public Works and Safety, City Engineer Miller made the motion to adjourn at 9:45 a.m., seconded by Sewage Office Manager Goldman and carded unanimously.
