JEFFERSONVILLE, iNDIANA MONDAY, DECEMBER 20, 1999
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., and on call of the roll those members
present were: City Engineer Bob Miller, and Sewage Office Manager Bob Goldman.
Also present were: Fire Chief Mike Smith, Police Chief Mike Pavey, Asst. Director of
Redevelopment David Duggins, Safety Director Rodden, Street Commissioner Grant,Wastewater
Treatment Assistant Director Traylor, Building Commissioner Larry Decker, Vehicle
Maintenance Supervisor Mike Ewton, City Attorney Anne Marie Galligan, and Clerk Lynne
Mayfield.
Sewage Office Manager Goldman made the motion to approve the payroll as presented,
seconded by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
City Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the minutes of 12-6-99 and 12-13-99 as
presented, seconded by Manager Goldman and carded unanimously.
STREET SIGNS
At a previous meeting, Rev. Robert Holton of Calvary Apostolic Church at 621 Mechanic Street
requested a church parking only sign in front of the church. Rev. Holton said a neighbor was
leaving a vehicle parked in front of the church for long periods of time. Police Chief Pavey
checked out the location and recommended painting the curb 4 or 5 ft. on the entrance for church
parking.

Fire Chief Mike Smith thanked $~5)Miller for his assistance on some sewer problem repairs.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Public Works and SafetY, City
Engineer Miller made the motion to adjourn at 11:00 a.m., seconded by Sewage Office Manager
Goldman and canded unanimously.
