JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 1999
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m., and on call of the roll those members
present were: Sewage Office Manager Bob Goldman and City Engineer Bob Miller.
Also present were: Fire Chief Mike Smith, Building Commissioner Larry Decker, Planning and
Development Director Jana Ecker, Officer Rodden, Parks Secretary Langdon, Wastewater
Treatment Plant Director Traylor, Street Commissioner Grant, Assistant Director of
Redevelopment Duggins, Director of Redevelopment Hinton, and Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
Manager Goldman made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by Engineer
Miller and carried unanimously.
Manager Goldman made the motion to approve the minutes of 11-22-99 as presented, seconded
by Engineer Miller and carried unanimously.
SPORTSMAN DRIVE
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pangbum along with Clifford Owens spoke to the Board in regard to the metal
curb/driveway plates on Sportsman Drive. They said originally they were told to remove the
concrete ramp they had on theirs and they complied. The Pangbum's said they asked if a "metal"
plate would be allowed and were told that is was. After installing a metal plate, which the
Pangburn's paid for, they received a letter from Andrew Williams saying that the metal plate
wasn't allowed and to take it out or it would be taken out. After some discussion, Mayor
Galligan said he would work something out with them. Mayor Galligan asked them to stay and
talk with the City AttorneY.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Public Works and Safety, Engineer
Miller made the motion to adjourn at 10:00 a.m., seconded by Manager Goldman and carded
unanimously.
