City Attorney Galligan presented a Notice of Violation to Wyandot for violation of the oii and
grease lirSt in it's lnd-astrial DSscharge Pm~nit and the Industrial Sewer Use Ordinrmce on
March 22, 1999. She recommer:ds a $i,500.00 fine. Manager Goldman made tke moi'ien to
approve the ,'.ill and grease violation and a $i,500.00 fine, seconded by Chief Pavey and can'ied

Dept. in the ~mom-~t of $500,000.00. Manager Goldman made lhe motion to approve 0~e Clerk
Treasurer's request to borrow up to $500,00.00 from the Sewer Dept., seconded by Police Chief
Pavey and earthed m;~rcikno~iy.
Building Connr~hssio:,her D~:cker has a letter fi'om Charles and Joyce Tevis who are fine owners of
1he property as 2i5 W. ChesPaut Street in which they agree to the Board enleAng an Order
requiting demeJifien of ike house. The Tevis's agree to keep $5,675.00 for the C2ity's costs upon
the comp!etion of .'.he demolition. Manager Goldman made the motion to app~,eve t2e
condemmttien *:nd dew~olition of fine house at 215 W. Chestnut St. and putting a lien on the
property, seconded by C~ief Pavey and cmTied ima. nimously.
Jimmy Carter '~,'}~o ow:':s prope~y at 206 S. 2nd Street in Utica spoke to the Boarc:. in regards to
his sewer bi[i beir~g refunded ¢'om 1993 to the presenl. He said he thought he was tapped in to
the sewer line N2t wasn't. Mayer Galligan sldd the Board would take this uuder adv sement
pending i~wes!igalion.
There being no £u~l,.er bash~css to come be~bre the Board of Public Works and Safety, Sewage
Of Ece Manager Gnldman made the motion m adjourn a~ 10:20 a.m, seconded by Police Chief
Pavey and carried mmn]mously.
