A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A CITY COURT PETTY CASH FUND
WHEREAS, a Petty Cash Fund currently exists within City the City of Jeffersonville for the Jeffersonville
City Court to service Court Fees.
WHEREAS, the Jeffersonville City Court has been operating with a previously established Court Fee Petty
Cash Fund in the amount of $25.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to increase the amount of the Court Fee Petty Cash Fund to $200.
WHEREAS, it has also become necessary for the Jeffersonville City Court to establish a Probation Fee
Petty Cash Fund in the amount of $200.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville has the authority under Indiana Law to
establish a Petty Cash Fund pursuant to lC 36-1-8-3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA that the Court Fee Petty Cash Fund be increased from $25 to $200.
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA THAT a Probation Fee Petty Cash Fund be established in the amount of
$200.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Jeffersonville City Court Fee Petty Cash Fund and the Jetfersonville
City Court Probation Fee Petty Cash Fund shall remain in existence until a Resolution terminates them and
upon such termination the fund balances remaining shall revert to the appropriate funds.
