HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-31-2000 Special Meeting SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MAY 3 I, 2000 Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. and on call of the roll, members present were: City Engineer Bob Miller. Present: City Attorney Galligan, Deputy Clerk Lynne May-field, and City Engineer Bob Miller. BID John Toombs of Jacobi, Toombs, and Lanz opened bids on the Holman's Lane/Chadestown Pike Sanitary Sewers, Pump Station, and Forcemain. Bids were submitted by Team Contracting, Reynolds, Mac Construction, Dan Christiani, and L.D. Rice. The low bidders are L.D. Rice on Division A at $248,716.00, Dan Christiani on Division B and C at $945,653.18, and Team Contracting on Division D and E at $385,000.00. Engineer Miller made the motion to take the bids under advisement for one week, seconded by Mayor Galligan and carded unanimously. CHARLESTOWN-NEW ALBANY PIKE HOUSE PURCHASE Mayor Galligan presented a claim in the amount of $69,625.00 for fi, house and right of way. Engineer Miller made the motion to approve the payment of the claim for $69,625.00, seconded by Mayor Galligan and carded unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board of Public Works and Safety, City Engineer Miller made the motion to adjourn at 2:30 p.m., seconded by Mayor Galligan and carded unanimously.
