OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 10, 2001
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a , and on call of the roll those members present
Were: Parks Director Elliott sitting in for City Engineer Miller and Fire
Chief Smith sitting in for Councilperson Frantz.
Also present were Parks Director Rick Elliott, Wastewater Treatment Director Crawford, Vehicle
Maintenance Director Drury, Personnel Director Ellis, Administrator Rich Davis,Animal
Shelter Director Keller, Redevelopment Asst. Director Duggins,Police Chief Pavey; Street
Commissioner Grant, and Clerk Lynne Mayfield.
Parks Director Elliott made the motion to approve the payroll as presented, seconded by Chief Smith
and carried unanimously.
Parks Director Elliott made the motion to approve the minutes of 12-3-01 as presented, seconded by Fire
Chief Smith and carried unanimously.
EXCAVATOR PURCHASE , ? s
Mayor Galligan told the Board that Engineer Miller has looked at an excavator and would like to lease it
through Bank One Leasing. Parks Director Elliott made the motion to`appr'ove leasing the excavator
through Bank One Leasing contingent upon City Attorney Galligan's approval, seconded by Fire Chief
Smith and carried unanimously.
FAIRVIEW AVENUE
Nellie Knowland said there is still a mud hole by Fairview Avenue. Street Commissioner Grant said he
has filled it in several times but will cut the ditch down this time to alleviate the problem.

' There being no further business to come before the Board the motion was made by Parks Director Elliott
to adjourn at 10:00 a.m. seconded by Fire Chief Smith and carried unanimously.
