OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 3, 2001
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
were Councilperson Dennis Frantz and City Engineer Robert Miller.
Also present were: Safety Director Rodden, Safety Director Rodden, Mayor's Assistant White,
Wastewater Treatment Director Dixon, Redevelopment Director Duggins, Administrator Rich Davis,
Building Commissioner Marvin Grant, Fire Chief Smith, Animal Shelter Director representative
Gartleman, Personnel Director Ellis, and Chief Deputy Clerk Suzy Bass.
Virginia Nisbit appeared before the Board to request vacating of her mother's property on the north side
of Lot 1. The motion was made by Engineer Miller to approve the request. On the call of the vote, the
motion failed 0-2.
Mr. Attila, 117 Frank St, appeared before the Board to ask that Frank St be paved where a sewer line
1-was installed. He said that gravel was put back but it was never paved. Mayor Galligan assured Mr.
Attila that the road would be paved soon.
Nellie Knowland informed the Board that the pothole at Clairview and Hamburg Pike has not yet been
fixed. Commissioner Grant said that this would be taken care of as soon as possible.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the motion was made by Mayor Galligan to
adjourn the meeting at 9:50 AM second by Councilperson Frantz and carried unanimously.
