Engineer Miller called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those members present
Were: Personnel Director Ellis sitting in for City Engineer Miller and Parks Superintendent Elliott sitting in

Personnel Director Ellis made the motion to approve the minutes of 8-13-01 as presented,
seconded by Parks Superintendent Elliott and carried unanimously.

STEAMBOAT DAYS STREET CLOSINGS
Chuck Whittaker appeared before the Board with a,listof street closings for Steamboat Days for approval.
Steamboat Days is September 12 through September'1,6, 2001. Parks Director Elliott made the motion to
approve the street closings,seconded by Personnel Director Ellisand carried unanimously.
1013 COOTS AVENUE
Building Commissioner Gavin said the City has cut the grass at this property three times and
cited them into the Board of Public Works for grass,the,
junk, and open storage. The owner's
were a no-show for the Board of Public Works. Building Commissioner Gavin said he would try
to begin condemnation proceedings due to dilapidated property.

Paralegal Sharon King on City Attorney Galligan's recommendation asked the Board to approve the lease
agreement with the Indiana Bond Bank for computer equipment and software. Councilperson Frantz made
the motion to approve the lease agreement, seconded by Personnel Director Ellis and carried unanimously

ENGINEERING AGREEM

Paralegal Sharon King on City Attorney Galligan's recommendation asked the Board to approve three
contracts concerning acquisition of the IWR parcel for a Park and Ride lot. Thefirst is an Engineering
Agreementr`Be foam, Longest, and Neff Engineering Thee second ispthe agreement between INDOT and
us . the City of Jeffersonville for funding"ofthe project. The`third is the right of way Acquisition of the IWR
Parcel with Beam, Longest, and Neff. Personnel Director Ellis made the motion to approve all three
agreements, seconded by Councilperson Frantz and carried unanimously.
WARDER PARK
Parks Superintendent Elliott told theBoard that the Parks Board`recommends tow,allo no tents, booths, or
anything with stakes in Warder Park because of,all the electrical
it and irrigation that is run through it.
Councilperson Frantz made the motion to approve the Parks Board recommendation, seconded by Person nel
Director Ellis and carried unanimously. 1 k
