OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
APRIL 2, 2001
Mayor Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and on call of the roll those
members present were: City Engineer Bob Miller, and Councilperson Denny Frantz.
Also present were: Building Commissioner Larry Decker, Wastewater Treatment Plant
Director Jim Traylor, Safety Director Danny Rodden, Information Technology
Administrator Rich Davis, Parks Director, Rick Elliott, Street Commissioner Marvin
Grant, Police Chief Mike Pavey, Fire Chief Mike Smith, Planning and Development
Director Jana Ecker, and. Mike Ewton, Vehicle Maintenance.
City Engineer Bob Miller made a motion to approve the claims as presented, seconded by
Councilperson Frantz and carried unanimously.

by Councilperson Frantz and carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
206 MARTIN CIRCLE
Councilperson Ron Ellis, appeared before the Board and requested that the residence at
206 Martin Circle be inspected for operating an automobile repair business. Mr. Ellis
told the Board that there is a tent in place over the driveway where the automobiles are
repaired. He told the Board that the work is being performed at night.
Jana Ecker, Director of Planning and Development told the Board that the matter is
already under review and a Code Inspection Officer is sending correspondence regard the
operation of the automobile repair service.
Mr. Ellis also told the Board that there is an abandoned car on the premises and Mayor
Galligan asked Chief Pavey to review the matter.
FULLER MOSSBARGER SCOTT&MAY
Mayor Galligan presented a contract for engineering and GIS services from FMSM. City
Engineer Bob Miller made a motion to approve the contract, seconded by Councilperson
Denny Frantz and carried unanimously.
OTHER BUSINESS
Nellie Knowland, 120 Fairview,requested the street light at Fairview and Spring be
repaired. Mayor Galligan asked Chief Mike Pavey to contact Public Service regarding
the repair of the street light.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the motion was made by
Councilperson Frantz to adjourn at 10:10 a.m., seconded by Parks Director Elliott and
carried unanimously.
