OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
MARCH 12, 2001
City Attorney Galligan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the absence of Mayor
Galligan.On call of the roll those members present were: Parks Superintendent Rick
Elliott sitting in for City Engineer Bob Miller and Councilperson Dennis Frantz.
Also present were: Building Commissioner Larry Decker, Wastewater Treatment
Director Jim Traylor, Street Commissioner Grant, Animal Shelter Director Keller,
Planning and Zoning Director Ecker, Administrator Rich Davis, Vehicle Maintenance
Foreman Mike Ewton, Safety Director Dan Rodden, Parks Director Rick Elliott, Fire
Chief Mike Smith, Personnel Director Ellis, Police Chief Pavey, and Clerk Lynne
Mayfield.
LICENSING SIGNS
Planning and Zoning Director Ecker said Mike Lindsay inquired about licensing sign
contractors. City Attorney Galligan said she doesn't recommend licensing every
contractor at this time.
POST OFFICE
Planning and Zoning Director Ecker said the post office called her in regard to what
address to use for Tenth Street and Highway 62 addresses. City Attorney Galligan said
that Tenth Street addresses should be used for properties within the city line.
BID RECEIVED
City Attorney Galligan said the City has received a bid of$20,000.00 from the Eagle's
Lodge for the property at 113 W. Maple Street. Councilperson Frantz made the motion to
accept the bid of$20,000.00 for property at 113 W. Maple Street, seconded by Parks
Superintendent Elliott and carried unanimously.

There being no further business to come before the Board the motion was made by
Councilperson Frantz to adjourn at 10:00 am seconded by Parks Superintendent Elliott
and carried unanimously.
