HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-R-16 2007- R- I6 RESOLUTION APPROVING FUTURE LAND USE MAP I WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville by and through its' Department of Planning and Development and a 'Comprehensive Plan Task Force has > i revised the land use map including la~d use needs up to and including the year 2030; WHEREAS, by and through the City's Department of Planning and Development it has produced population projections to the year 2030; WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville and the Department of Planning and Development are in the process of updating its' Comprehensive Plan; i I WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the needs of the citizens and taxpayers of Jeffersonville to establis~ guidelines for the growth and development of the City's future; WHEREAS, the Council believes it is in the best interest of the citizens and taxpayers of Jeffersonville that the City approve the Future Land Use Map; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council approves and adopts the Future Land Use Map attached hereto as I Exhibit A and incorporated by refer~nce i .~ ATTEST: -~ ~ i--O ' pegg/~(~ Clerk-Treasurer Presented by me as Clerk-Tre4surerto the Mayor of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana this ~ day of tJpr-t\ ,2007.
