FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING JEFFERSONVILLE PARKS AND
CREATION DEPARTMENT TO RECEIVE DEBIT AND CREDIT CAI

WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville ("the
Council") is the legislative body having the statutory authority to adopt ordinances
to ensure the public health, safety, and welfare; and
WHEREAS, the Council acknowledges that it is important to the public to
have the opportunity to purchase Parks Department services by debit and credit
card; ,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council that it hereby
authorizes the Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation Department to receive debit
and credit card payments for services and -fees.
This Ordinance shall be in full force. and effect from and after its passage
