WHEREAS, the Common Council ("Council") of the City of Jeffersonville,
has adopted Ordinance No. t~ on ~ (~ ,2005 ("Ordinance")

("City")
determining to undertake the Project (as defined in the Ordinance) and the financing
thereof by the issuance of sewage works revenue bonds ("Bonds") in one or more series;
and
WHEREAS, the Project will be constructed, financed and completed in phases
which allows the City to issue its Bonds in one or more series; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance provides that the issuance of any series of Bonds must
be approved by a resolution of the Council approving the issuance thereof and the
maximum principal amount for such series of Bonds;; and
WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that the City is ready to proceed with
the issuance of the first series of Bonds under the Ordinance in the maximum principal
amount of $6,500,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, THAT:
Section 1. The Council of the City hereby approves the issuance of the first
series of Bohds .for the Project under the Ordinance with a maximum principal amount of
$6,500,000.
