HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-OR-08 Ordinance No. 2005-OR-8 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA wHEREAS, an application was properly filed with the ~effersonville Plan Commission by FIRST SAVINGS BANK, for rezoning from R-1 (Low Density Residential) to C-1 (Small to Medium Scale General Commercial) certain real estate located in the County of Clark, City of Jeffersonville, the legal description of which is more specifically described as follows: LOT NO. 52 IN "MELLWOOD" SUBDIVISION, A PLAT OF WHICH IS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK NO. 6 AT PAGE 173 IN -/HE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA. COMMON ADDRESS: 2207 Allison Lane,Jeffersonville, IN 47130 (Key ~3: 19-69-5) WHEREAS, the time and place of the meeting for the Plan Commission were properly noticed and advertised for a meeting to take place on January 25, 2005 ar 6:00 'clock p.m. at the City-County Building in the Assembly Room on the third floor, Jeffersonville, Indiana; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission members present and voting on January 25, 2005 at the hour scheduled and noticed for said meeting, unanimously voted to approve said rezoning application and to recommend to the Common Council for the City of Jeffersonville the Zoning Ordinance of Jeffersonville, Indiana, as now written, be amended to provide for said rezoning. BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, that the Zoning Ordinance of Jeffersonville, Indiana, be, and hereby is amended such that the zoning map of the City of Jeffersonv431e shall hereafter indicate the real estate located at 2207 Allison Lane, Jeffersonville, Indiana and identified above in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which is more particularly described as: LOT NO. 52 IN "MELLWOOD' SUBDIVISION, A PLAT OF WHICH IS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK NO. 6 AT PAGE 173 IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF CLARK COUNTY, INDIANA.
