A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE HAVEN HOUSE LOAN
FROM THE REVOLVING LOAN FUND
WHEREAS, Haven House Services, Inc. provides necessary and crucial services to the homeless, and
WHEREAS, Haven House Services, Inc. currently has an outstanding loan from the Jeffersonville
Revolving Loan Fund, and
WHEREAS, The Ieffersonville Common Council desires to recognize and help Haven House
Services, Inc. provides to those in need, and
WHEREAS,
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, by ordinance, has the final authority
to approve the conditions of the loans applied for through the Jeffersonville Revolving
Loan Fund,
THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE THAT:
SECTION 1:
The outstanding balance owed by Haven House Services Inc. to the Jeffersonville
Revolving Loan Fund in the amount of $100,000 is hereby forgiven, although this loan
was not approved by the Revolving Loan Committee or by ordinance by the Common
Council.
