BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
A RESOLUTION INDICATING INTEREST IN MAKING A PURCHASE OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 124 CHESTNUT STREET,
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Common Council for the City. of Jeffersonville, Indiana, (the
"Council") is the fiscal body of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana (the "City"); and
WHEREAS, the Council is interested in making a purchase of certain land located
at 124 Chestnut Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that pursuant to I.C. 36-1-
10.5, the Council is interested in making a purchase of certain land located at 124 Chesmut
Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to I.C. 36.1-10.5 the Board of
Public Works and Safety (the "Board") shall appoint two (2) appraisers to appraise the fair
market value of the land; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to I.C. 36.1-10-5 the Board shall
provide a copy of both appraisals to the Council.
