AN ORDINANCE ~ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1527 AND C~NGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM
R-I~ RESIDENTIAL~ TC B-3z_GENERAL BUSINESS
WHERF~S, the Plan Commission of the City of Jeffersonville~
Indiana, after petilion~ legal notice~ hearth9 and being fully advised
in the premises has recommended a change in zoning classification to
the real estatenere~na~ ' '~-~er described from R-i~ Residential, to B-3,
Qeneral Business.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT O2DAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville~ Indiana~ that Ordinance No. 1527 (Zoning
Ordinance) be amended as to zoning classification from R-l, Residential,
to B-3~ General /Business~ as to the following described real estate
situated in the City of Jeffersonville~ County of Clark~ State of
Indiana, to-wit:
Bein9 that part of Survey No. 9 of the Illinois Grant,
bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake in the line
dividing Surveys Nos. 2 and 9 of the Illinois Grant~
said stake is the south corner of Lot No. 2 in Tract 2
in Survey No. 9 of said Illinois Grant as shown on the
Plat in Probate Order Book ~'F" at page 164~ in the
office of the Clerk of the Clark Circuit Court; thence
N. 50 deg. E.~ and with the line dividing Surveys Nos.
2 and 9 aforesaid~ 35.74 poles to a stone in said iine~
the true place of beginning; thence continuing N. 50 deg.
E. ~05.25 feet~ more or less, to a stone in said line;
thence N. 40 deg. W. 300 feet to a stake; thence S. 50
deg. W. 305.25 feet, more or less~ to a stake; thence S.
40 deg. E. 300 feet~ more or less~ to the true place of
beginning~ and containing by estimation 2.106 acres~
more or less.
Passed and adopted at a meeting of the Comnon Council of the City
of Jeffersonville~
