TH~ ~0NING CLASSIFICATION OF C~RTAIN REAL BSTAT~ FROM
R-l, Residential to R-2, Residential.
WI-IER~, the Plan Commission of the City of Jef£ersonville, Indiana,
after petitions legal notice, bearing, and being fully advised in the
premises, bas recommended a change in zoning classification of tbe real
estate hereinafter described from R-l, Residential to R-2, Residential.
NOW~ THEREFOREs BE IT OROAIN~D by tbe Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 1527 (Zoning Ordinance) be
amended as to zoning classification from R-l, Residential to R-2, Resldential
as to tbe following described real estate situated in the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Clark County, Indiana, to-wit:
Part of the City of Jeffersonville, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Rigbtb Street and
Short Jackson Street, and proceeding along the south line
of Eightb Street 162.0 feet, more or less, to the nortbeast
corner of Lot 1, Block B-1 of Read and Zulauf's Subdivision,
a part of Outlets 12 and 10 as previously recorded; thence
proceeding southerly a distance of 140.0 feet, more or less,
to the northwest corner of Lot 5 of said Block B-1 of said
subdivision, this point being also the point of beginning;
thence scutberly along the east line of Block B-l, a distance
of 317.8 feet, more or less, to a point on the north line of
Frederick Street; thence easterly along the north line of
Frederick Street, a distance of 22.8 feet; thence southerly
across Frederick Streetand continuing a total distance of
194.25 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
parallel to and 170.25 feet southerly of the south line of
Frederick Street a distance of 300.0 feet, more or lessI
thence northerly along a line a distance of 194.25 feet,
more or less, to the north line of Frederick Street; thence
easterly along the north line of Frederick Street a distance
of 201.0 feet, more or less, to a point on the northwest
corner of Virginia Avenue and Frederick Street; thence north
along the west line of VirginiaAvenue 312.9 feet, more or
less, to a point which is the northeast corner of Lot 18 of
Block B-21 thence westerly along a line parallel to and 140.0
feet southerly of the south line of Rigbtb Street, a distance
of 512.0 feet~ more or less, to the point of beginning,

follows= Beginning at a point on the northerly line of
Lot 42 of Latimer and savitz Subdivision of Port Fulton,
now in Jeffersonville, Indiana, 136.0 feet easterly of
the easterly line of Western Avenue; thence N. 45" 48'
08" E. along the northerly line cf said Lot 42 ~nd the
northerly line of Lot 41 in the SubdivisiOn aforesaid ,
a distance of 921.73 feet; thence southeasterly along an
arc concave to the southwest, having a radius of 132.08
feet, a central angle of 24° 49' 03", a chord length of
56.73 feet with a chord bearing of $. 14° 59t 26" B., an
arc distance of 57.21 feet; thence southeasterly along
an arc concave to the northeast, having a radius of 182.08
feet, a central angle of 30~ 42t 21", a chord length of
96.42 feet with a chord bearing of S. 17~ 55' 35" B., a
cbord length of 97.60 feet; thence S. 45e 48' 08" W. along
a line parallel to and 35.O feet north of the center line
of Eighth Street a distance of 850091 feet; thence N. 44
23' 02ff W. along a line parallel to Western Avenue, a
distance of 136.O feet to the point of beginning°

thence westerly along the southerly line of said Lot 42

distance of 146.0 feet to the point of beginning.
