An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriation
From the General Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the ~ day of %~'~z~M ,
1964, at a ff~m~ meeting of the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, held in the Court Room of the
Clark Circuit Court in the Court House in said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 3 day of /~&o~ ~
1964, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the Court Room of the Clark
Circuit Court in the Court House in said City as the time and
place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and d~termining whether an emerbency exists
for the passage of an Ordinance making appropriation from the
General Fund of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the
time, place and purpose of said meeting in the matter prescribed
by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for
the appropriation of $1300.00 for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and
hereby is appropriated from the General Fund of the City of
Jeffersonville the sum of $1300.00 to the fund for the operation
of the Fire Department, such Thirteen Hundred ($1300.00) Dollars
to be used in the following manner:
One Thousand ($1000.00) Do~ars for the repair of equipment,
and Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars for the purchase of gasoline,
all for said depa~ent.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax CommissiOners.
