FROM THE GENERAL FJND
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd day of February, [964, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the City Hal~ of said City, the C~mmon Cquncil passed a resolution
fixing the 2nd day of March, 1964, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., at the City Hall
in said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists
for the passage of an Ordinance making appropriation from the General Fund
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the Non-Reverting capital fund of
the Board of Parks and Recreation of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said mee~ting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of ]effersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriation
of $12, 500.00 for the purpose stated;
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Common Council of
the City of ]effersonville, Indiana:
SECTION 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated from the General Fund of the City of Jeffersonville the sum
of $12,500. 00 for the purpose of transferring said amount to the Non-Reverting
Fund of the Board of Parks and Recreation in conformity with agreement made
between the Board of School Trustees of the City of ]effersonville and to be
used by said Board of Parks and Recreation in the manner provided by
law for the use of Non-Reverting funds.
SECTION 2.
Thls Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Bcard of Tax Commissioners.
