FROM THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 2nd day of March, 1964, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the ~ity Hall of said City, the Common Cquncil passed
a resolution fixing the 6th da~ of April, 1964, at 7::30 o'clock, P.M.,
at the City Hall in said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said
Common Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an Ordinance making appropriat ion
from the General Fund of the City of jeffersnnville, Indiana.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriation
of $2,500.00 fac the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana;
SECTION 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the General Fund of the City of Jeffersonville the
sum of $2, 500.00, for the purpose of construction of new Fire House
over and above the amount previously alotted.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 6th day of April, 1964.
