An Ordinance Rez~ning Certain P~operty From R-1
Residential to~
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described
is reclassified and rezoned from R-1 Residential to f-~, General
Business, said property being described as follows, to-wit:
Being that part of Survey No. Nine (9) of the Illinois
Grant, bounded as follows:
Beginning at a stake in the line dividing Surveys Nos.
Two (2) and Nine (9) of the Illinois Grant, said stake
is the South corner of Lot No. Two (2) in Survey No. Nine
(9) of said Illinois Grant as shown on the Plat in Probate
Order Book "F" at page 164 in the office of the Clerk of
the Clark Circuit Court; thence North 50 degrees East,
and with the line dividing Surveys Nos. Two (2) and Nine.
(9) aforesaid, 54.24 poles to a stone in said line; thsn'ceJii~
North 40 degrees West 300 feet to a stake, the True Place of
Beginning;
Thence continuing North 40 degrees West 492 feet, more or
less, to the center line of the Plank Road; thence South
22 degrees 30' West with the center line of said road
342.375 feet, more or less, to a point; thence South
40 degrees East 618.25 feet, more or less, to a stake;
thence North 7 degrees 18' East 415 feet, more or less,
to the true Place of Beginning, and containing 3.9 acres,
more or less.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
