An Ordinance Annexing a Certain Tract of Contiguous
Territory to the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County,
Indiana. .........
BE IT ORDAINED MY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Clark uoun~F, in the State of Indiana, that the following
described tract of contiguous territory is hereby annexed to ~
the said City of Jeffersonville.
Beginning at a point on the Jeffersonville, Indiana's Western
Corporation line~ where soid Western Corporation line intersects the
Eastern Right of way line of the Hamburg Pike aud the line dividing
Surveys Nos. 9 and 19, T~E TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Thence $outhwestwardly along the line dividing said Surveys No.
9 aud 19, crossing the Hamburg Pike to the '~stern Right of Way of s~id
Hambur~ pike, to a point,
Thence Northwardly along said Western Right of Way ~ne
of

Hamburg Pike 19~600 fe~t more or le~s to the centerline of Silver Creek
to a point~
Thence Southwestwardly with the meanderings and on the centerline
of said Silver Creek, 9800 feet more or less to the intersection
of the line dividing Surveys Nos. ~6 and &7 to a point, where said
centerline of ~ilver Creek intersects said Survey line of Surveys Nos._.
46 and ~7,
Thence Southeastwardly md along said line dividing s~id Surveys
Nos. ~6 and 47, ~900 feet more or less to the Southeast corner of Survey
No. ~6~ same being the Southwest corner of Survey No. ~7, also said point
being in tho centerline of Potters Lane,
Thence Northeastwardly along the line dividing Smrveys Nos. 33
and ~? and being the centerline of Potters ~-ue, 500 feet more or less
to a point on the Northern Right of Way of said Potters Lane and said

Thance Northeastwardlyalong the Northernline of PottersLane,
2700 feet more or less to a point on the Eastern Right of Way line of
State Road No. 31E, (same being the ~esternEight of Way line of the
P.C.C. & ST. L. Railroad Right of Way),
Thence Southwestwardly along the said common Right of Way line
of State ~ad 31E and the P.C.C. & ST. L. RaJ.lread, 6~00 feet more or
less to ~ point on the Southern Right of Way line of the Charlestown-
New AlbanyPike,
Thence Nertheastwardly along the $outhern Right of Way line of said
Charlestown-New Albany Pike 300 feet m~re or less to the line dividing
Surveys Nos. 19 and 20 of the Illinois Grant to Clark County, Indiana,
Thence Southeastwardly along the dividing line of said Surveys Nos.
19 and 20, 1000 feet more or less to a point,
Thence Southeastwardly 1597 feet mere er less~o~' point on the
Western Right of Way line of the ~mburg Pike, ~~
Thence Southwestwmrdly parallelimg the Western ~ight of Way line
of the said Hamburg Pike and this line being (1) one foot West of
the said Western Right of Way Line of the said Hamburg Pike, 3900 feet
mere of less to a point on the line dividingturveys Nos. 9 and 19,
Thence Northeastwardly along the line dividing Surveys Nos. 9
and 1% to the intersection with the Jeffereonville Ccrpormtion line a~
the Southeast corner ~f the Hamburg Pike and the Old OharlestownRoad,

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Common Council~.
Passed and adopted Common Council this ~ ~ day of
