AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SPECIAE APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, certain estraordinary emergencies have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated
in the annual budget; Now, therefore, to meet such extraordinary
emergency:
Sec. 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, that for the expenses
of said city the following additional sum of money is hereby
appropriated and order set apart out of the fund herein named
and for the purpose herein specified, subject to the laws governing
the same:
Motor Vehicle Fund $47,244.26
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the State Board of
Tax Commissioners.
