From the Street Department Sanitation and Motor
Vehicles Fund for Salaries.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd .day of May, 1965, at a
special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the City Hall of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 7th day of June,
1965, at 7:30 P.M., at the Court House in said City as the
time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the
purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an Ordinance making an appropriation
from the Street Department Sanitation and Motor Vehicles Fund.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law~ and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $7090.00 for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana;
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Street Department Sanitation and Motor
Vehicles Fund for Salaries the sum of $7090.00.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by-the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 7 .. day of June, 1965.
