An Ordinanee Rezoning Certain Property From R-1
Residential to B-i, Local Business.
BE IT ORDIANED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described
is reclassified and rezoned from R-1 Residential to B-1 Local
Business, said property being described as follows, to-wit:
Being Lot No. 12 of Brighton Subdivision and fronting
100 feet on the Utica Pike, as shown on the plat of Brighton
Subdivision filed in the office of the Recorder of Clark
County, Indiana.
Also the South 10 feet of an alley abutting the northern
line of said Lot No. 12 as heretofore vacated by an order
of the Clark Circuit Court.
Also, being Lot No. 1 of the Sallie M. Ewing Pope's Sub-
division of part of Survey No. 3 of the Illinois Grant,
as shown on the plat on file in Plat Book No. 4 at page
63, in the Recorder's Office, Clark County, Indiana,
containing 4.37 acres, more or less, Excepting 210 feet
off the north side of said Lot.
Lot No. 11 as shown on the plat of Brighton in Plat Book
No. 4, page 50, being filed in the office of the Recorder
of Clark County, Indiana, on the 26th day of April, 1906.
Also the South 10 feet of an alley abutting on the
northern line of said Lot No. 11 and on the eastern half
(or 50 feet) of said Lot No. 11 as heretofore vacated by
an order of the Clark Circuit Court.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after
its passage and approval.
