An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
From the Parks Department Non-Reverting Capital
Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of February ..... , 1965,
at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the City Hall of said City, the
Common Council passed a reso_utlon flxin~ the day of
1965, at ?~ o'clock, P.M., at the City Hall in said
City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making an
from the Parks Department Non-Reverting Capital
appropriatinn
Fund.
I~EREAS,
the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed
by law~ and
WHEREAS~ it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $6500.00 for the purpose stated;
NOW, T~REFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department Non-Reverting Capital
Fund the s~ of $6500.00 for the purpose of purchasing coin
operated lockers to be installed at the swimming pool at Ewing
Lane.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
