An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 1527,
the Zoning Ordinance.
Being
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that Section 21 of the zoning ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 1527 of the ordinances of this city, be amended
by adding Subsection J to read as follows:
The City Building Commissioner shall refuse to accept a
Petition to Re-zone or Application for Special Exception or
Variance within six (6) months of the date the Plan Commission
denied a Petition to Re-zone or the Appeals Board denied an
Application for Variance or Special Exception when said petition
or application involves the same subject matter. However, the
City B~ilding Commissioner shall have the authority and discretion
to determine that the application of petition contains major
changes which would justify him in permitting the filing of
same within the six-month period.
This Ordinanee shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
